5 Channel Clinical Q Mini Assessment
At Providence Therapy's Brain Bar, we offer a comprehensive 5-point Clinical QEEG Assessment and EEG Biofeedback/Neurofeedback training as part of our holistic and trauma-informed counseling therapy practice.
A 5-point Clinical QEEG Assessment is particularly beneficial for clients with complex concerns or those who have not made satisfactory progress with other treatments. This assessment provides valuable information about brainwave activity and connectivity by measuring and analyzing the electrical patterns in the brain. By comparing a client's brain profile to normative clinical databases, we gain a deeper understanding of their unique brain functioning.
During the assessment visit, we utilize advanced technology to record brainwave activity through sensors placed on the scalp. This non-invasive procedure is painless and safe. The collected data is then analyzed to identify any abnormalities or dysregulation in brainwave patterns. This information is then reviewed in session with the neurotherapist and allows for questions to be asked. This process aims to empower clients by providing them with a clearer understanding of their brain functioning and what could be impacting their mental health symptoms.
Based on the QEEG assessment results, our trained neurotherapists tailor EEG Biofeedback/Neurofeedback training to suit each client's specific needs.
