What we’re looking for…

We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes..

  • Demonstrates skills in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, acute and complex trauma, dissociation, and a range of other mental health issues with adults, children, families, and/or couples.
  • Formal trauma training in somatic release, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, OEI, CBT/DBT, or other experiential mind-body approaches.
  • Training in psychological assessments and neurotherapy is an asset.
  • Master's degree or higher in counseling psychology or social work.
  • Current registration and good standing with a professional regulating body (BCACC, BCPA, CCC, BCASW).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience - (practicum experience counts).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starting, committed attitude.
  • Team player interested in a collaborative atmosphere and passionate about our clinical values and mission.
  • Interest in working with trauma and complex mental health cases, and open to experiential mind-body therapies and the complementary application of alternative medical and technological interventions.
