Registered Counsellors

Telehealth / Video Therapy

*With teletherapy, you can receive counselling services through interactive audio and visual electronic systems, even when you and the therapist are not in the same location. This can be a convenient option for those who are unable to leave their homes due to medical conditions, mobility issues, or other unavoidable circumstances. Your therapist can conduct teletherapy sessions either by video or phone. Talk to your therapist to learn more about what to expect and to determine if teletherapy is suitable for you.*Rates will be the same as the standard session rates.*

Transparency is important when it comes to financial matters, and we are more than happy to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions upon request.  Our rates vary by practitioner's experience and clinical title.  Our rates consider the level of expertise of the Clinical Counsellor and those recommended by the BCACC, BCPA and BCASW, and are consistent with the prevailing fee structures in comparable settings Canada wide.

Clinical Counselling Interns

These individuals are currently in their graduate program and are completing clinical hours to fulfil their program requirements. They work under the direct supervision of senior associate clinical counsellors.

Graduate Associates

These professionals have finished their practicum hours and completed or nearly completed their graduate requirements. They are awaiting registration and also work under the direct supervision of senior associate clinical counsellors.

Junior Associates

Junior registered counsellors have completed all the requirements for their graduate programs and are fully registered professionals with an accredited regulating body in Canada. They have at least one year of clinical experience and may have additional experience in the mental health field. They are seeking and undergoing training in post-graduate specialties and certifications.

Clinical Associates

Associate registered counsellors have completed all the requirements for their graduate programs and are fully registered professionals with an accredited regulating body in Canada. They have a minimum of 2-4 years of clinical experience and additional experience in the mental health field. They also have at least one formal certification in an area of expertise that requires in-depth supervised training hours and formal association checks and balances. They are further seeking and undergoing additional training and certifications in post-graduate specialties.

Senior Clinical Associates

These professionals have completed all the requirements for their graduate programs and are fully registered professionals with an accredited regulating body in Canada. They have a minimum of 5 years of clinical and related experience in the mental health field. They have multiple formal certifications in areas of expertise and are continuously seeking additional training and certifications in post-graduate specialties. Senior clinical associates also provide supervision to other counselling professionals.
