about me
Through collaborative exploration of each client’s personal story, I help individuals develop awareness of patterns in their thoughts, emotions, perceptions, and responses.
This deeper understanding can support meaningful change in symptoms and foster greater emotional resilience. As healing unfolds, clients often develop increased self-confidence, learn to navigate life’s challenges more effectively, and cultivate a greater sense of meaning and direction in their lives.

Individual Counselling:
Couples/Relationship Counselling:
style of therapy
Who I Work Best With
I work with both individual adults and couples. My approach recognizes the interconnectedness of the body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
My primary therapeutic modalities include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Observed Experiential Integration (OEI), and other process-oriented somatic therapies. In my work with couples, I integrate perspectives from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and IFS to help partners deepen emotional connection, strengthen communication, and foster secure attachment. I also provide comprehensive relationship assessments that support couples in understanding their relational patterns, strengthening their partnerships, navigating challenges, and building resilient, lasting relationships.

Area of focus
What it’s like to Work with Me
My work is informed by several theoretical frameworks, including polyvagal theory, trauma theory, structural dissociation theory, and emerging research in interpersonal neurobiology and neuroscience, with a particular emphasis on attachment and relational healing. These perspectives highlight the remarkable capacity of the human mind and body to heal and reorganize when provided with the right support and conditions.
Ultimately, my aim is to support clients in moving toward greater integration and wholeness. As difficult experiences become sufficiently processed, individuals can learn to be informed by their memories rather than controlled by them. This process often leads to meaningful, positive, and lasting changes in their lives.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you begin your journey toward healing and growth.

The human behind the therapist
I find joy in travel and nature. I particularly enjoy creating a garden of beautiful flowers and foliage. This helps me to feel at ease and regulate emotionally. I love how I feel when I sit and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I do this when I need to feel more connected to myself and God. ☺

Choosing to go to therapy requires courage, trust, and a strong commitment. Regardless of your circumstances, whether you are having problems in your relationships, having difficulties because of trauma, or are experiencing low mood, stress, and anxiety; my hope is that you will find your way through it. With that in mind, in our work together, it is important to me to take an empathic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to create a safe and caring environment for you. By engaging with and processing your story, my hope is that you come to recognize your patterns of thought, emotion, perceptions, and responses so that you experience changes in your symptoms. As you heal, you can learn to build self confidence, overcome challenges, make meaning of your circumstances, and move forward.
I work with Individual adults, couples, and families. To aid my work, I use the felt connection between the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. My primary approaches are Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), EMDR Therapy, Observed and Experiential Integration Therapy (OEI), and other process-oriented body therapies. In my couples’ work, I integrate perspectives from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and IFS. Theoretic approaches include polyvagal theory, trauma theory, structural dissociation theory, emerging research in interpersonal neurobiology and neuroscience, with particular emphasis on attachment and relational healing. Each of these perspectives highlights the important implications for the
human capacity to heal.
It is my desire to help support and guide my clients towards more integration and wholeness. As events become sufficiently processed, you can be informed by the memories rather than controlled by them, leading to effective, positive, and lasting changes in your lives.
I look forward to starting the process of healing with you.
