about me
Hi, I'm Olivia, a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) and trauma therapist here at Providence Therapy!
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting, especially in a world that often feels complex and uncertain. You might not know where to start, and that’s completely okay. As someone who has walked my own healing path, I understand the courage it takes to take that first step.
In my work, I collaborate with clients to understand their unique values, needs, and stories. I take a systemic and holistic perspective, recognizing that our experiences are shaped not only by our inner worlds but also by our relationships, communities, and the broader systems we move through. Together, we co-create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported, and empowered to move toward the life you want with more self-trust and clarity.
My approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and psychodynamic therapy, blending body-based, attachment-focused, and bottom-up work to support deeper emotional processing and nervous system regulation. Sessions are collaborative and paced to meet your readiness for change, whether that’s through reflection, skill-building, or trauma processing. Clients often share that they appreciate my direct approach, as well as the integration of humour and moments of joy. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to book a free call to see if we’d be a good fit.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through BCACC and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the CCPA. I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and a B.A. in Human Relations (Specialization in Family and Youth Work) from Concordia University.
Over the past decade, I’ve supported a wide range of clients in schools, group homes, community agencies, and counselling clinics. My background includes extensive work with immigrant and QTBIPOC communities, men, and neurodivergent clients, as well as individuals healing from abuse, relational trauma, and intergenerational wounds. Early in my career, I launched one of Montréal’s first English-speaking young fathers’ mental health groups and have continued to advocate for men’s emotional well-being and relational growth.
I’ve also volunteered for a crisis and suicide hotline and worked closely with Black and Indigenous communities, guided by the teachings of Elders and community leaders. Their influence continues to shape my commitment to ongoing learning, humility, and the continued decolonization of my practice.
I support older youth (16+) and adults, including men, caregivers, and clients exploring identity, gender, and sexuality within QTBIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
“These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.” — Rumi
When I’m not working, I’m often recharging in nature off-grid on a Gulf Island, enjoying live music, taking part in community events, or exploring new dishes with friends.

2. Apply any type of 'Element trigger' into the dummy element and select the 'Page Trigger' animation.
3. Copy the dummy element with the animations applied into your new project.
4. The animation should have been copied into your project and you can reapply the 'Page Trigger' animation into your project.

Lastly, please do not copy this project and claim it as your own. We wish to continue sharing and giving to the community. In order to do so, we will need your cooperation and full support. Thank you very much,
